Sophie Hoban and Max Burgess have taken out the Newcastle Jets Women’s and Men’s Player of the Year awards tonight, held at Newcastle Town Hall on Friday night.
Burgess also picked up the Member’s player of the year award alongside Emma Dundas.
Dundas also took out the Cheryl Salisbury award, while 18-year-old Will Dobson has claimed the Craig Johnston award.
Melina Ayres was awarded the Golden Boot award for the Women’s team after scoring eight goals, while Clayton Taylor claimed the Men’s award with nine goals.
Emma Bates and Xavier Bertoncello picked up the young player of the year awards, while Academy starlets Aayliah Kilroy and Archie Brideson were awarded the Emerging Jets award for their performances in the Club’s Academy.
