The Newcastle Jets confirm the following departures from their Isuzu Ute Men’s A-League squad.
Mark Natta, Kota Mizunuma, Clayton Taylor, Lachlan Bayliss, Ben Gibson, Noah James, Lucas Scicluna, Ben van Dorssen and Christian Bracco will depart the Club at the expiration of their A-League contract this season.
Natta joined the Jets in 2022, after being released by the Western Sydney Wanderers. Since then, Natta has gone on to make 97 appearances for the Club, scoring four goals.
Mizunuma joined the Club in 2025 from Yokohama F. Marinos. The attacker made a total of 37 appearances across all competitions for the Club, scoring seven goals.
Taylor joined the Club in 2023 after being released from Sydney FC. The winger made a total of 79 appearances for the Club, scoring 24 goals.
During his time at the Club, Taylor received his first call-up to the Australia U23’s side.
Bayliss joined the Club in 2023 after being released by the Central Coast Mariners. The midfielder went on to make over 71 appearances for the Jets, scoring six goals.
After taking his game to another level under Mark Milligan and his staff, Bayliss earned his first call-up to the New Zealand national team, making his debut off the bench in a recent friendly against Finland.
Gibson joined the Club in 2024 from APIA Leichhardt. The striker made 53 appearances across all competitions scoring 11 goals.
James rose through the Club’s Academy and made his A-League debut in 2020. The goalkeeper went on to make eight appearances for the Club.
Scicluna joined the Jets in 2025. The midfielder made his debut for the Jets in the Australia Cup win over Adelaide earlier this season, making 12 appearances in total for the Club.
Van Dorssen climbed the Club’s Academy ranks and while not making his debut for the A League, the defender helped the Youth Team gain promotion to Football League One in 2024, captaining the side.
Bracco graduated from the Club’s Academy in 2024, making his debut for the Jets in a 4-1 win over Western United in the Australia Cup.
