Hannah Brewer, Lisa De Vanna and Bronte Bates attended Waratah West PS’s sports awards.
Players from the Newcastle Jets W-League team have left a lasting impression on the students of Waratah West Primary School after attending the school-s sports awards.
During the sports assembly Hannah Brewer, Lisa De Vanna and Bronte Bates were on hand to help give out awards to the excited winners.
The school was so pleased with the players attendance that teacher, Jane Chaplem wrote in to the club to express the schools gratitude.
“Our school is very small with only 83 students and we rely heavily on support from businesses and the community,” Ms Chaplem wrote.
“Over 40% of our students are Indigenous and sport is something that they all love and often excel in so the students were very excited and proud to have their photo taken with the girls.
“Lisa, Hannah and Bronte left a great impression on the students, staff and parents.”
