Newcastle Jets Goalkeeper Coach Claire Coelho has been announced as the A-League Women’s All-Stars Goalkeeper Coach for the upcoming fixture against Women’s Super League giants Chelsea FC in August
Coelho, 30, spent a decade playing for the Club from 2013 to 2023, before retiring at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season. Claire coached within our Academy, before being named as the Goalkeeper coach of the A-League Women’s side ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Claire was selected for the All-Stars coaching staff by current Melbourne Victory Head Coach Jeff Hopkins, who has also named Melissa Barbieri and Maruschka Waldus as his assistants.

The Ninja A-League Women All Stars will face Chelsea FC Women on Wednesday 12 August at Allianz Stadium as part of the Sydney Super Cup with the squad set to be announced closer to the fixture.
