Dear Members, Fans and Partners,
As we draw the curtain on one of the most memorable seasons in Newcastle Jets history, we would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support.
The 2025/26 season will be remembered as a defining chapter in our Club’s journey.
Our Men’s team delivered one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory, highlighted by winning the A-League Men Premiers Plate and a famous Australia Cup triumph in Melbourne. Lifting silverware is always special, but these achievements are a testament to the hard work, belief and commitment of our players, coaches and staff — and a source of immense pride for our members and supporters.
Our Women’s team also made significant strides throughout the Ninja A-League Women season, continuing to build a talented and ambitious squad with a strong core of local players. Their progress reflects the exciting future of women’s football in our region and the Club’s long-term commitment to growth in the women’s game.
While our on-field success has been outstanding, we are equally proud of the progress made off the field.
Throughout the 2025/26 season, we achieved:
- Average A-League Men attendance of 9,496 — a 44% increase year-on-year
- A regular season high of 20,930 fans at McDonald Jones Stadium and over 25,000 supporters at leg 2 of our home semi-final
Our connection with fans continues to grow, both on the ground and digitally.
Across our META platforms, our content generated over 70 million views in the past 12 months, while our YouTube channel saw 113% growth in followers.
In the community, we delivered more than 60,000 engagement opportunities through clinics, holiday programs, and visits to schools, clubs and local events — reinforcing our role as a club that is deeply connected to its region.
The Newcastle Jets Academy continues to go from strength to strength, now comprising 260 players across 13 teams from U13 to U23 levels. It is the largest academy of its kind in the country – an achievement we are incredibly proud of.
These achievements reflect the collective effort of our players, staff, members, volunteers, partners and fans.
To our members and supporters: thank you for bringing energy, passion and belief to every match. Whether at McDonald Jones Stadium, No. 2 Sportsground, Maitland Sportsground, or supporting from afar, your commitment plays a vital role in everything we achieve.
To our valued commercial partners: thank you for your trust and continued investment in the Newcastle Jets.
