PREVIEW:

The Jets snuck into the top six after their last fixture, going five games unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Victory on the road.

The first of five games on that streak was a 2-1 win over Wellington in Matchweek 5. 

After four successive losses to start the 2020/21 A-League campaign the three points earned over Wellington were Newcastle’s first of the season. Craig Deans’ side have built on that points total in each of their games since.
