Newcastle Jets coach Craig Deans is keeping a lid on whether Matt Millar and Ramy Najjarine will face the Roar on Sunday.
Najjarine sat out last week’s win over Melbourne City due to being on loan but is still no guarantee of playing this weekend due to an ankle issue.
Jason Hoffman will miss the match due to a groin complaint, while Matt Millar is a 50-50 proposition due to fitness following time in quarantine and limited training time since re-joining the Club.
“Ramy is 50-50, it’s whether the risk of playing him and getting kicked in the ankle is worth taking and Matty is four or five sessions in since quarantine,” Deans said of the pair.
