Newcastle Jets coach Craig Deans has named his squad to face Adelaide on Friday.
Jason Hoffman and Ramy Najjarine will miss the match due to injury.
New recruits Syahrian Abimanyu and Liridon Krasniqi were not considered for selection as they work on their fitness following time in hotel quarantine.
“No updates to injuries,” Deans said.
“Hoffy is still out, Ramy’s ankle is probably still another week or possibly two away.
“And Liri and Abi, it’s a matter of building fitness still.
“They’re probably another week, possibly two, as well.
“We don’t want to rush them. We have a big squad now.”
Coming off a 2-0 loss to Phoenix last week, Deans said his team has belief that they can bounce back.
“We go to Adelaide confident,” Deans said.
“We believe we can win every game we play and I think we’ve shown that in the 10 games we’ve had so far that we have been more than competitive.”
