We’ve hit the midway point of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season and with a busy summer schedule, Ernie Merrick has indicated that it’s time to make some changes.
What changes they might be are yet to be seen, but the boss has said that he and his staff are closely managing player workloads as they head into their second game in five days, with a trip to Perth to follow this weekend.

Jason Hoffman is the only omission from the squad that faced Sydney, following a controversial red card that will see him miss a match.
Mitch Austin has been added to the squad following some time with the Club’s NYL side and could offer an injection of pace of the bench.
Glen Moss came through his return from injury well, despite being hampered by some cramp late in the second stanza against the Sky Blues.
Ben Kantarovski is on the improve and is closing in on a return, with Merrick indicating he may be back in Round 17 to face the Wanderers.
