The Newcastle Jets are thrilled to announce the signing of Will Kennedy for the next two seasons
Comfortable at full-back or defensive midfield, Will progressed through the Sydney FC academy system, becoming a regular in their Youth Team across the 2023 and 2024 NPL NSW seasons.
Kennedy, 21, made his senior debut for Sydney FC against Sanfreece Hiroshima in the Asian Champions League Two. Will played six games for the Sky Blues across the A-League and Asian Champions League Two, before departing for the Mariners at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. Whilst at the Mariners, Will made seven appearances, starting twice.
