The Newcastle Jets are delighted to confirm the signing of attacker Lachlan Rose from Macarthur Bulls FC.
25-year-old Rose joins the Jets after making 98 appearances for the Bulls across all competitions scoring 19 goals.
Rose will immediately link up with the squad ahead of the Jet’s Australia Cup match against Western United in Darwin.
Rose is excited to get amongst the squad and get to work straight away.
“I’m keen to rip in straight away in Newcastle and get to work. After speaking with Rob Stanton I’m excited for the season ahead. I can’t wait to play my first game in Newcastle in front of the fans and meet as many of you as possible. It’s time to get to work.
Newcastle Jets Coach Rob Stanton said.
“I’m pleased to be able to bring Lachie here to the Jets. He is someone who is a very direct player who can cover a couple of positions however he is a player of quality and I’m sure our fans will enjoy watching him.
He will add class to our attacking options and I’m excited to see what levels he can go to.”
On top of snaring a player of Rose’s quality, the Newcastle Jets remain active in the player transfer market.
