GOLD STRENGTH: STORIES OF RESILIENCE is a joint initiative between Newcastle Jets and Headspace Newcastle. In 2023, the initiative was launched thanks to the support of the NSW Government.

The program is aimed at secondary school students, whereby identified Newcastle Jets A-League Men’s and Women’s players visit secondary schools to share their personal stories of strength and resilience as a professional footballer. You can check out some of these videos below. The program presents an opportunity to educate, support and inspire young people to identify their own strengths and resilience, to recover from adversity, and to build resilience for future adversity.
