The Newcastle Jets wish to confirm the departure of the following players from the 2024/25 team.
Dane Ingham, Ryan Scott, Matt Scarcella, Justin Vidić, Wellissol, Callum Timmins, Jacob Dowse, Charles M’Mombwa and Zac Bowling will all depart the Club when their contracts expire on June 30.
Ingham has made a total of 95 appearances across four seasons with the club, including 87 in the A-League and eight in the Australia Cup, providing nine assists during his time.
Having captained the Club twice in the A-League, becoming the 41st player to lead the men’s team out for a match, Scott made 51 appearances for the club, 46 in the A-League and five in the Australia Cup, keeping eight clean sheets.
Scarcella returns to parent Club Sydney FC after the expiration of his season long loan deal having made 16 appearances, consisting of 13 in the A-League and three in the Australia Cup.
Vidić made 15 appearances for the club, including two in the Australia Cup and 13 in the A-League over two seasons. He scored three goals in his time with the Club, most notably a match-winning double against Rockdale Illinden in the Australia Cup Round of 32 in 2024.
After joining the Club this season, Wellissol made 15 appearances for the Club across all competitions, with M’Mombwa making 13 appearances, scoring one goal in the A-League.
Timmins made 67 appearances for the Club across three seasons with a total of 62 in the A-League and five in the Australia Cup.
Dowse made one appearance for the Club in 2023 in the Australia Cup against Brisbane Roar in the Round of 32.
Bowling departs the Club having been a member of the A-League squad this season.
