The Jets were not without their chances against the Central Coast Mariners but ultimately it wasn’t to be, as the Jets were defeated 2-0 to end this year’s campaign.
Goals in each half would be enough for the home side to claim all three points, as the Jets will rue missed opportunities especially in the second half when the match was in the balance.
It has been the beginning of a new era at the Jets since the start of this season. It was a season that provided many highlights and now the team will enjoy the off-season before preparing to go again next season.
