The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that Academy Graduate Oliver Cockle has signed a scholarship contract with the Club.
The 18-year-old has been with the Newcastle Jets Academy since under-11s, progressing through the ranks into the Youth Team, where he has excelled across the last two seasons.
Oliver was recognised at the 2024/25 End of Season Awards ceremony with the Emerging Jet award, given to the Academy player who has shown the most promise and ability over the season.
Oliver is thrilled to have signed his first professional contract,
“I’m extremely proud to have signed my first professional contract with the Jets. This has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m excited to get started next season.”
