Current Form:
The Bulls come in off the back of a 2-1 win over Perth Glory in Matchweek 1 of the A-League season, scoring two late goals to seal the win after Perth took the lead midway through the second half.
The Jets came back twice against the Mariners away from home to secure a 2-2 draw to start their league campaign. The Club has also found time to rest this week, following two matches in five days due to their AFC Champions League Elite commitments.
Key Match-Up:
Joe Lolley vs Nathan Paull
Joe Lolley had a good game in last weeks F3 Derby, producing six key passes, including two big chances created. His ability to cut inside and shoot or go on the outside and deliver the ball kept defenders guessing, with his delivery leading to Patrick Wood’s opener.
The key to stopping a dual-threat winger like Lolley is quality 1 on 1 defending, with Nathan Paull likely to be tasked with stopping the Englishman. Paull has been solid in his two appearances across all competitions so far this season, registering 20 total defensive contributions.
