I am eager to work hard and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming A-League season and Asian Champions League campaign. I’m looking forward to continuing my learning and development under Mark Milligan and the coaching staff, as well as repaying the belief that has been shown in me. I can’t wait to run out and play in front of the supporters and make many special memories in 2026/27.”
A-League Men’s Head Coach Mark Milligan said,
“Ethan is a player who has continued to put in hard work and bide his time for his opportunity. I’m delighted to give him that. He has the potential to grow even more and we look forward to seeing his growth over this season.
Ethan brings a lot of excitement in the forward area and he will be a valuable addition to our squad in 26/27.”
Debono will continue to wear the number 46 in the AFC Champions League Elite, however he will wear the number 17 in the A-League Men’s competition.
