The Newcastle Jets are thrilled to announce that Aaliyah Kilroy has signed a Scholarship deal with the Club
Aaliyah first joined the Club’s academy in 2020, progressing through the ranks before becoming a regular feature in the Youth Team in 2025. The 17-year-old attacking player played a key role in the Youth Team’s run to the FNSW League One Grand Final this year, starting in 20 out of her 23 appearances as well as scoring six goals.
Aaliyah is delighted to be signing her first professional contract,
“I’m so excited and grateful to have signed my first A-League scholarship contract with the Newcastle Jets. I’ve been part of the Jets Academy for seven years, so to now have the opportunity to step into the A-League team and continue learning and developing means so much to me. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season with the girls and making the most of the opportunity.”
A-League Women’s Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said,
“Aaliyah impressed us when she spent time training within our environment last season. She’s a fierce competitor who is technically tidy, and this season will be another great opportunity for her to develop and push herself around the A-League squad.”
