The Newcastle Jets are excited to announce that Mackenzie Preston-Poole has signed a scholarship contract with the Club
The 16-year-old winger had a successful season with the Club’s youth team, scoring 13 goals in 22 games as they reached the Grand Final. Mackenzie has also been a part of several Junior Matilda’s camps, as well as representing Northern NSW in the last two Emerging Matilda’s Championships.
Mackenzie is thrilled to be signing her first professional contract,

A-League Women’s Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said,
” Mackenzie is an exciting young winger with electric pace who has had a standout season in our academy. She has a lot of potential and we’re looking forward to seeing her continue to grow while being exposed to the A-League environment.”
