The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Zane Schreiber
Schreiber joins the Club after spending the past three seasons with Melbourne City.
Screiber was a member of the City team that claimed the A-League Championship in 2024/25.
The midfielder made a total of 62 appearances across all competitions for City in the Australia Cup, A-League and Asian Champions League Elite.
Newcastle Jets Coach Mark Milligan said.
“We are excited to bring Zane on board. For a young man he has already had some fantastic experiences in the game both locally and internationally through the Asian Champions League. We see a lot of potential in Zane and think he will thrive in the environment and add to a strong midfield unit.”
Schreiber is eager to hit the ground running in gold.
“I’m excited to get started, watching the jets last season really impressed me. As soon as I got the call, it was impossible to turn down the opportunity to play for this great club. I can’t wait to get to work and make history with the club domestically and in Asia.”
