The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that Josie Allan has re-signed for the 2024/25 A-League season on a scholarship deal.
The 18-year-old, who has progressed through the Club’s Academy, made her debut for the Jets against the Western Sydney Wanderers in 2022, has made nine appearances for the Club.
Allan is excited for the season ahead.
“I’m excited to be a part of this year’s squad under Ryan Campbell and his support staff.
I can’t wait to start training and get back together with my teammates as we build on what we accomplished last season.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Ryan Campbell said.
“Josie had a good end to last season which was capped by a number of performances off the bench. She backed this up with a very good season for the Academy and I am looking forward to seeing her take this into the professional environment.
Her ability to carry the ball at speed in tight areas is a key strength and something that I hope is able to be shown more often throughout not only this season but in many to come.”
