Newcastle local Cassidy Davis will enter her 12th consecutive season of A-League football after re-signing with the Club for the 2024-25 Liberty A-League season.
Davis currently holds the record for most appearances in the Liberty A-League for the Club with 153 matches.
The Novocastrian captained the Jets last season scoring two goals.
Davis is looking forward to another exciting year at the Jets following the team’s successful run into the semi-finals from last season.
“I’m extremely grateful and proud to be representing my hometown Club for a 12th consecutive season.
The on-field success we had last year and the passionate support we received from the local community, is a massive motivation for me to take this team to another level.
I am eager to start the 2024/25 season and see where this New Era takes us.”
Newcastle Jets Coach Ryan Campbell said.
“It’s great to have Cass back for another season as she epitomises everything that we are about as a Club. I look forward to her showing her leadership skills on and off the park to assist with such a young and positive team.”
The Newcastle Jets can also confirm the departure of Isabel Nino. The Club thanks Izzy for her efforts last season and wish her well for the future.
