After media speculation this morning regarding the ownership of Newcastle Jets, the Club reaffirms its statement of September this year:
All discussions regarding the future ownership of the Club will understandably be kept confidential and are expected to continue over the coming months. No announcement on a new owner is imminent.Â
The Club is working closely with the FFA throughout this process and will inform Members and Partners when an outcome is reached.
Given the confidential nature of these discussions it is in the best interests of the Club and Parties involved that no further comments will be made until negotiations are complete.Â
In the meantime, the Club continues our preparations for the upcoming match and appreciates the loyal support of our Members.
