Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the re-signing of attacker Ash Brodigan for the coming A-League Women’s season.
23-year-old Brodigan has played over 30 times for the Newcastle Jets having previously represented Australia at youth level.
Coach Ash Wilson is happy to have Brodigan return for the coming season.
“Ash worked hard to get her second opportunity in this league last season and didn’t disappoint. She is technically a gifted player who is creative, has pace, agility and is versatile which makes her valuable as well as important to the way we want to play. She has backed up her strong season in A League with an impressive NSW NPL season, ranking high on the top goal scorers list. I’m excited and very pleased to be able to work with Ash for another season to further unlock her potential and see the levels she can reach with this team.”
Brodigan is eager to link up with her teammates again for the coming season.
“I’m really excited to be back playing again for the Jets and building on from last season. I’m very excited to see what the season holds for us as a team and I’m focused on further improving my game and helping this side achieve something special.”
