It was another massive achievement for our Powerchair Football team this season – with the Newcastle Jets Powerchair team becoming back-to-back champions by winning the National Championships 2022.
The team had a dream run this season – Chris Hastas was the joint top goal scorer of the League with the team scoring the most goals and conceding the least in the tournament.
James Kim won the best defender award for the season.
Ryan Seck had the most assists for the tournament and won the overall MVP for the Jets team
Team member Dimitri Liolio says the team as a whole worked incredibly hard this year for their results and it obviously paid off.
Newcastle Jets Executive Chairman Shane Mattiske said we’re all so proud of the way our Powerchair team has represented the Club and of their success in achieving back-to-back Championship wins.
