Biography
Zach Clough signed for the Newcastle Jets on the opening day of the 2025/26 mid-season transfer window. An English midfielder with over 150 games of experience across the English 2nd, 3rd and 4th divisions, Zach first came to the A-League in early 2022 with Adelaide United, spending three and a half seasons in Red. After 93 appearances and 22 goals, Zach departed for Malaysia, playing for Selangor for half a season before returning to Australia.
2025/26 Season:
Clough signed for the Jets in mid-January of 2026, but missed the next few months of the season due to injury. He made his long-awaited debut in round 23, coming off of the bench in a 2-3 loss away to Macarthur FC.
