Biography
Zach Clough signed for the Newcastle Jets on the opening day of the 2025/26 mid-season transfer window. An English midfielder with over 150 games of experience across the English 2nd, 3rd and 4th divisions, Zach first came to the A-League in early 2022 with Adelaide United, spending three and a half seasons in Red. After 93 appearances and 22 goals, Zach departed for Malaysia, playing for Selangor for half a season before returning to Australia.
2025/26 Season:
Clough signed for the Jets in mid-January of 2026, but missed the next few months of the season due to injury. He made his long-awaited debut in round 23, coming off of the bench in a 2-3 loss away to Macarthur FC. Zach made six appearances for the Club, all off the bench as we lifted the Premiers Plate for the first time, before being knocked out on penalties in the semi-final.
