Mark Natta

Mark Natta signed with the Jets ahead of the 22/23 season after coming through the youth system of the Western Sydney Wanderers. He is also an Australian youth international, having represented his country at both U17 and U23 level.

2022/23 Season: Mark debuted for the Jets off of the bench in the Australia Cup, playing seven minutes in a 2-0 loss to Perth Glory. He became a regular in the squad, playing in 20 out of the 26 league games, starting 14 of them. He largely played as a centre-back, although he also featured as a left-back on occasion.

2023/24 Season: Natta started both Australia Cup fixtures, playing 120 minutes in both the qualifying round and the round of 32. He scored his first goal for the club in a 5-3 loss to Melbourne Victory in round 2 of the A-League. Despite links with several foreign clubs, Mark signed a two-year extension midway through the season, contracting him to the end of the 2025/26 season. Natta had a stellar campaign, starting 24 games out of the clubs 27 league fixtures, missing three games due to his Australia U23 commitments.

2024/25 Season: Mark scored his second goal for the club in a 4-3 loss to Macarthur in the Australia Cup. He also had a stand-out performance in the F3 Derby, assisting Lachlan Rose before scoring a dramatic late equaliser in a come from behind 2-2 draw away from home. Mark started 21 of his 22 A-League appearances that season.

2025/26 Season: Mark struggled for game time at the start of the season, not featuring in the first three games of the club’s successful Australia Cup campaign. However he started in both the semi-final and final, helping the club to just their second ever trophy. He also did not feature in the first 5 A-League fixtures, before earning his spot for the round 6 win over Auckland FC, locking himself into the starting team. He scored in the round 20 2-1 win over the Western Sydney Wanderers.
