Biography
Joel signed for the Newcastle Jets on a one-year deal from NPL NSW powerhouse Apia Leichhardt, having also previously played for Macarthur FC. He is a versatile player who is comfortable in both midfield and full back. Joel signed a two-year extension in February 2026, after an impressive start to the season.
2025/26 Season:
Joel made his Jets debut against Central Coast Mariners in Round 1 of the 2025/26 season. After coming off of the bench for the first four games of the season, Joel was given his first start in round 5 against Perth Glory, going on to cement his place after several eye-catching performances. Joel was rewarded for his fine form with a two-year extension.
