Biography
James Delianov signed for the Newcastle Jets on a two-year deal ahead of the 25/26 A-League campaign. Delianov came through the AIS and Melbourne City Academy, where he made one senior appearance, before spending a season at Western United as a second choice keeper. He moved to Adelaide United ahead of the 20/21 season, where he played 60 games across five seasons. He has also represented Australia at U17 and U20 level.
2025/26 Season:
Delianov made his Jets debut against his former club, Adelaide United, in the Australia Cup Round of 32. He played all five games as the team won the 2025 Australia Cup, keeping two clean sheets in the process. After a slow start to the A-League season, James kept his first clean sheet of the league season in a 2-0 win over Sydney FC in round nine, before going on to keep back to back clean sheets against Macarthur and the Central Coast.
