Chris Zoricich
Head Coach Men's Youth
As a player, Chris Zoricich represented several clubs across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, including a short spell in the Chelsea FC reserve team. He spent three years with the Newcastle Jets during the NSL era, making 50 appearances during that time. Chris also represented New Zealand 57 times, including captaining them at the 1999 and 2003 Confederations Cup. His only international goal came against the USA in the 1999 Confederations Cup.
Zoricich’s coaching career started back in his native New Zealand in 2010 with Auckland City FC, serving as a Youth Team coach. He spent time as an assistant with the New Zealand U17 National team, before taking the Head Coach role at Western Springs. After five years there, Chris came back to Newcastle, taking the Head Coach role at Cooks Hill United. He returned to the Jets in 2025, serving as assistant to Damian Zane for the Newcastle Jets Youth team whilst staying on with Cooks Hill. At the conclusion of the 2025 season, he left Cooks Hill to take the role of Newcastle Jets Youth Team Head Coach.
