There were many names that shone over the weekend from our Youth and Academy teams and worthy of inclusion in our Young Stars of the Week.
Here are some notable names who deserve a special mention from the weekend that was:
HAT-TRICK HEROES
There were plenty of goals over the weekend from our young Jets, with a total of 30 scored over the seven grades.
16-year-old Xavier Bertoncello (featured) stepped up an age group and managed to grab a hat-trick in the 20s to help his team to a 4-1 win.
Harry Butcher and Jett Pacheco were also deadly in front of goal as both scored hat-tricks in the 13s 9-nil victory.
ROCK-SOLID KEEPING
Another 16-year-old has recently stepped up and made a big difference has been goalkeeper Jordan Baylis.
The youngster made his second appearance for the Youth and picked up a second clean sheet whilst making some vital saves on the weekend as part of another exceptional performance.
Another goalkeeper worthy of mention is that of Jayden Borgia in the 14s who pulled off multiple key saves to help his team cement their win.
LEADING FROM THE BACK & NATIONAL ID
Our 15s side are continuing to dominate their competition, with 27 goals scored and three clean sheets from their six games.
Central defender Jett Floyer-Knell has been a player leading the team well, putting in some outstanding performances with good forward passing and composed defending.
Elsewhere, three of our 15s players have shone on a national scale too, as Angus Muddl, Janni Rafty and Kai Herd were selected for a NSW National ID 16s match last week, and put in a strong showing.
