Summer is well and truly here as the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League embark on the Summer Football Festival throughout the holiday season!
Running from 21 December, 2017 to 14 January, 2018; the Festival will feature 37 matches across 25 days with kids under 16 given free entry* to every fixture.
Jets’ CEO, Lawrie McKinna said the offer was an exciting one for families during school holidays.
“We’ll host three games at McDonald Jones Stadium during the Summer Football Festival – one of them being a double-header,” said McKinna.
“It’s a chance to get along and see some quality football during the holiday period at a really affordable price.
“Ernie has the boys absolutely flying at the moment and Craig Deans is doing a wonderful job with the W-League – it’s a great time to get on board with the Jets.”
The Jets will begin their Summer Football Festival on Friday as they take on the Western Sydney Wanderers at McDonald Jones Stadium – kick-off at 7.50pm.
They will also host the Roar in January, as well as a mouth-watering F3 Derby with the Central Coast on January 9.
Our Westfield W-League side will be at home on 12 January for a big clash with Adelaide United and will also feature in two televised away games in Melbourne and Sydney respectively.
