Newcastle Jets will return to Hunter Stadium in Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Round 5 against Western Sydney Wanderers.
After two strong performances at Hunter Stadium so far this campaign – a narrow 1-0 defeat against Sydney FC and an exciting 1-0 win over reigning Champions Melbourne Victory – the Jets are seeking to land a huge home crowd for what will be a double-header, of sorts.
Before kick-off in the Club’s Hyundai A-League fixture at 5:15pm, Jets Members and fans can take in Jets Women’s first home match of the Westfield W-League 2015/16 season at Magic Park (kick-off 2:00pm).
Jets Women are hoping to break the Westfield W-League stand-alone crowd attendance figure of 3,084 from round 3 of the 2014/15 campaign between Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC at Marconi Stadium.
And all in the name of a good cause – Newcastle and Western Sydney supporters can attend the W-League clash at Magic Park for a simple and affordable gold coin donation which will be passed on to Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect).
Autism is a disability that affects one in 100 Australians, and Aspect is Australia’s leading service provider for autism and other disabilities.
Aspect is the charity partner of Jets Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League major partner, Beechwood Homes.
So, mark Saturday 7 November on your calendar, or diarise it in your phone pronto. It’s the day that you’ll be supporting a great cause at Magic Park and taking in a Westfield W-League encounter, before wandering across to Hunter Stadium to see the Jets clash with Western Sydney in the Hyundai A-League.
