Our Round One match against the Central Coast Mariners which was washed out now has a confirmed date
The A-Leagues can confirm that the Isuzu UTE A-League’s postponed round one match between Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets will now be played on Wednesday 21 December.
Following excessive rain on the Central Coast, the original fixture was postponed on match day due to flooding on the pitch at Central Coast Stadium that resulted in the surface being unfit for play.
With consultation from both Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets, a revised date has now been confirmed to take place with minimal disruption to the full season’s schedule.
