Please note that the Newcastle Jets do not hold open trials for its Hyundai A-League squad. However the club through its network of coaches and scouts regularly monitors talented players locally and nationally. As such, the club provides trial opportunities to players at its discretion.Â
The club’s Emerging Jets pathway in partnership with Northern New South Wales Football holds trials for boys and girls teams annually. Teams range from under 9s in boys, and under 11s in girls. Playing in these teams provides a strong pathway through to the club’s senior men’s and women’s teams for players deemed to possess consistently high levels of skill and physical capacity, as well as outstanding characters.Â
