Newcastle Jets Youth secured their fourth win of their 2015 Northern New South Wales National Premier League campaign on Saturday, earning a 2-1 result over South Cardiff FC.
Goals from Caio de Godoy and Braedyn Crowley mid-way through the first 45 helped the junior Jets to a two-goal lead before Sean Clerke reduced the arrears for the Gunners before the break.
Neither side could add to the scoreboard attendant’s duties after the interval.
New Jets Head Coach Scott Miller was in attendance at the match, as were first team squad members Nigel Boogaard, Daniel Mullen, Lee Ki-je, Mitch Cooper, Mark Birighitti, Andy Brennan and Radovan Pavicevic.
Josh Barresi played 45 minutes of the contest at Ulinga Oval.
