Newcastle Jets and Serbian striker Milos Trifunovic have finalised a mutual termination of the forward’s contract with the club.
Trifunovic, whose contract with the Jets was due to end at the completion of the current Hyundai A-League campaign, has expressed his desire to take up an opportunity abroad.
Trifunovic played 22 games and scored nine goals for Newcastle Jets throughout Hyundai A-League season 11.
The Jets thank Trifunovic for his efforts and professionalism during his time at the club, and wish him and his young family well for the future.
