The Hyundai A-League round 25 match has been postponed due to poor weather. The fixture will now take place at Dairy Farmers Stadium at 8:30pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, 2 February.
The Hyundai A-League match between North Queensland Fury and Newcastle Jets FC scheduled for 9pm (AEST) tonight at Dairy Farmers Stadium has been postponed due to heavy rain caused by tropical cyclone Olga.
FFA officials have met with representatives from both Clubs, the host broadcaster FOX Sports and the venue and decided to make an early call to assist all concerned, especially traveling supporters.
The Weather Bureau is predicting an extra 80 millimetres of rain could fall on the venue over the next 24 hours, following the approximately 200 millimetres that has already soaked Dairy Farmers Stadium in recent days.
After consultation between FFA, both Clubs and host broadcaster FOX Sports the postponed match between North Queensland Fury and Newcastle Jets FC has been rescheduled.
The match will be played at 8.30pm (AEDT), (7.30pm local) Tuesday February 2 at Dairy Farmers Stadium, Townsville.
