The Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce that exciting young winger Oscar Fryer has signed for the Club for the next two seasons.
18-year-old Fryer joins from Sydney FC’s Youth team where he has featured in the NSW NPL this season.
Fryer who plays as a winger but can also operate as a striker is excited to be joining the Club.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Jets and getting set for the next phase of my career. I’m also keen to work with Rob Stanton and his coaching staff as well as get to know the Jets fans and immerse myself in the Newcastle community. I’m excited for what this season will bring.”
Newcastle Jets Coach Rob Stanton said.
“Oscar is a hugely talented player who we have been looking at for a while now. I’m delighted to bring him to the Club and see what he can achieve here. He is versatile in the final third and will create excitement and add depth to our stocks.”
