The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce the signing of attacker India Breier from the Western Sydney Wanderers.
Breier who can play on the left wing, joins the Jets for the next two seasons.
Breier has spent the 2024 season with the Macarthur Rams in the NSW NPL where she won the Premiership.
The young attacker is excited for the next chapter in Newcastle.
“I’m very excited to be joining the Newcastle Jets this season. The club has such a great culture and a supportive fan base.
The team did so well last season and I can’t wait to play alongside such a talented group of players and contribute to the team’s success. I really like the Jets’ style of play and am looking forward to playing under Ryan and developing my game.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Ryan Campbell said.
“India is somebody who I had noticed last season playing in the NSW NPL and have kept a close eye on since. She has been involved with several of the underage Australian sides which demonstrates her huge potential.
She is a left-footed attacking player who has the ability to take on defenders which will add quality to our squad in an area that we need to add to.
She seems very keen to get here to get started which is important for the culture and environment and I am looking forward to having her here.”
