The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce the signing of American forward Erin Flurey for the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season.
Flurey joins Newcastle following experience in Iceland with Þór/KA, having previously featured for Auburn University, Florida State University and Syracuse University in the United States.
Flurey is excited to make the move to Australia and the Jets.
“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to join the Newcastle Jets and play in such a competitive league. From conversations with the staff, I already feel very welcomed and loved hearing about the direction that the club is heading in.
I’m especially excited to work with Stephen Hoyle and his vision for the team alongside such talented players!”
Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said.
“Erin really impressed me with the season she’s coming off in Iceland and the variety of goals she’s been able to score. She’s strong in 1v1 duels, connects well with teammates and works extremely hard out of possession. I think she’ll give us some real edge in the final third.”
