Newcastle Jets Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of attacker Akeisha Sandhu for the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season.
Sandhu joins the Jets from NPLW Victoria Club Essendon Royals where she played during the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old, who can also operate at wing-back has spent time playing with South Melbourne.
Sandhu is delighted to be joining the Jets for the upcoming season.

I’m bringing every bit of my energy, drive, and deep love for the game to this club, and I can’t wait to challenge each other, push our standards, and accomplish big things as a team this season.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said.
“Akeisha is someone whose winning mentality, work ethic and qualities as an attacking full back really stood out to me. I’ve enjoyed watching her performances for Essendon Royals this season and I believe she’s ready to take that next step and make a real impact in the A-League.”
