The Newcastle Jets will be paying tribute to first responders in this Sunday’s Isuzu Ute A-League match against Auckland FC at McDonald Jones Stadium at 5pm.
The Newcastle Jets recognise the effort and commitment that our local heroes show in the community and want to show their appreciation to every branch of the service.
The Jets are offering two free General Admission tickets to all first responders including police officers, firefighters, SES responders and ambulance officers who show valid identification at the match.
The precinct at McDonald Jones Stadium will be packed with emergency vehicles from NSW Rural Fire Brigade, NSW Police, NSW Fire and Rescue, NSW Ambulance Service, SES and Westpac Rescue Helicopter so fans can get up close with some of the lifesaving equipment used by our service members. These are the people who run towards a crisis, and this is the perfect chance to thank them in person.
