The Newcastle Jets are delighted to confirm Rob Stanton’s backroom staff for the 2023/24 Isuzu Ute A-League season.
Damir Prodanovic joins the Jets from the Sutherland Sharks in the NSW NPL where he served as Head Coach for the 2023 season and previously worked for .
Eli Babalj will continue in his role as Football Operations Manager as well as serving as an Assistant Coach to Stanton. Babalj previously played for the Jets in the 2021/22 season.
Long-standing goalkeeper coach Chris Bowling remains in his role and will oversee the development of the club’s first-team goalkeepers.
John Kobiela joins the club from Avondale FC in the Victorian Premier League as Head of High Performance and Sports Science.
Brandon Lowe joins the Jets as the Men’s Physiotherapist. Lowe has previously worked with Kobiela at Avondale FC.
Andrew Pawiak joins this season as sports scientist. Andrew has previously spent time at the club, coming through the Youth Team.
Caleb Wickens will continue on in his role as an analyst. From Newcastle, Wickens joined the club as an intern from the University of Newcastle before making the transition to first team in 2022/23.
Newcastle local Ezekiel Gentle will continue on as Kit Manager for 2023/24 after joining the club last season.
