Newcastle Jets can confirm the following departures from their Ninja A-League Women’s squad.
Josie Wilson, Olivia Page, India Breier, Haley Johnson, Charlotte Lancaster, Melina Ayres, Anna Leat and Kelli Brown will depart the Club at the expiration of their A-League contract for the 2025/26 season.
Wilson joined the Club in 2023 and made 49 appearances for the Club.
Page joined the Jets at the beginning of the 2025/26 season and made nine appearances for the Club.
Breier arrived at the Club in 2024 and made 25 appearances for the Jets, scoring two goals.
Johnson joined the Jets at the beginning of the 2025/26 season and made seven appearances for the Club.
Lancaster arrived at the Jets last season and made 13 appearances in total, scoring three goals for the Club. During her time at the Club, Lancaster received her first senior international appearance for the New Zealand Football Ferns.
Ayres joined the Jets in 2023. The striker made a total of 34 appearances, scoring 14 goals for the Club.
Goalkeeper Leat joined the Jets at the start of last season and made 12 appearances in total for the Club.
Brown arrived at the Jets in 2025. The forward made a total of 19 appearances for the Club, scoring six goals.
