Newcastle Jets Executive Chairman Shane Mattiske has provided a positive update on the scheduling at McDonald Jones Stadium for the upcoming A-League Men’s season.
“Since the announcement of the Supercross event on November 11th, we’ve been working positively with the Stadium and I’m pleased to now be able to confirm that the Jets can lock in our normal full season at McDonald Jones Stadium.
On behalf of our teams and fans, we want to thank the Stadium for their commitment to minimise the impact of the Supercross event by investing in and bringing in ready-to-play turf to get matches back at the ground immediately after the event.
Jets Club Memberships have today gone on sale to the general public and it’s great that our fans can now look forward to seeing our home games at McDonald Jones Stadium with a new look team headed up by our Men’s coach Rob Stanton.

With Monthly payment plans available and Kids Go Free Memberships*, a Jets Membership makes for one of the most affordable family activities in town.

With this commitment from Venues NSW we’re now able to confirm to our members and fans that we can look forward to a full Jets home season with a minimum of 12 games to be played at the Stadium.
With the availability of the stadium now locked in, we’re looking forward to the APL confirming our home matches for the season. Our members and fans will be able to look forward to some great match-ups including two home games at McDonald Jones Stadium versus our F3 rivals, the Central Coast Mariners.
