Newcastle Jets has today announced that former Hyundai A-League Assistant Coach and Foxtel National Youth League mentor James Pascoe has been appointed to the role of Acting Football Manager.
Pascoe brings first-rate organisational skills and football knowledge to the position.
The former Hunter Sports High Director of Sport and FFA A-License coach will assist with the planning and development of the team’s pre-season campaign, player recruitment, and Hyundai A-League compliance matters.
Head of Hyundai A-League, Mr Damien de Bohun said: “James brings the right football and administrative skills, but as importantly has a great insight into football in Northern NSW and the elite player pathways.”
“This appointment is the first of many steps to ensure that there is a strong Novocastrian spirit in the new club that is taking shape.”
Pascoe commenced his duties today.
