It’s been a painstaking month cultivating their best moustaches – with varying levels of success – all in the aid of a very worthy cause.
Nigel Boogaard, Nikolai Topor-Stanley, Jason Hoffman and Glen Moss have been getting right behind Movember, one of the countries leading charities in changing the face of men’s health – addressing issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
A-LEAGUE: Five things for clash with City
The Jets ‘Mo Bro’ contingent has been certainly doing their part for the cause, raising in excess of $2,000 as the end of the month approaches.
The Club’s Hyundai A-League squad also made the generous gesture of donating their fine money for the final week of the month in support of their teammates.
In celebration of their efforts and to raise further funds, each of the boys will be shaving their ‘mo’ at an event at Queens Wharf Brewery on Friday 30 November.
You can bid for your chance to shave your favourite ‘mo’ from 5pm, with all winners also earning a double pass to next Sunday’s game with the Brisbane Roar.
You can also bid for the chance to shave the skipper’s head! As Nigel Boogaard chooses to lose more than just his ‘mo’ before the trip to Melbourne to face City on Sunday.
