Late stoppage time goal sees Jets drop points

In a high energy, end-to-end game, our Jets took a point from Western Sydney following a stoppage time goal to the hosts.

The scoring opened midway through the first half when Tiana Jaber nailed an incredible long shot goal, and her first A-Leagues goal.

But in the second half, the Wanderers worked their way back into the contest and began to take control and trouble our defence.

With chances flying back and forth for both sides, a late goal to Ashlie Crofts proved deciding as our multi-milestone game ended as a draw.

FULL TIME: In a drama-filled game, we end all square following a late goal to the hosts

63′ A slicing pass from Eddy sees Andrews with a half-chance. She tries a hammering shot but it’s save comfortably.
