Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the signing of American Alex Klos for the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season
Klos, who plays in midfield joins the Club from the University of California, Berkeley where she has spent the previous two seasons.
Prior to playing with the Golden Bears, Klos also spent time playing for Santa Clara University.
Klos is eager to hit the ground running at the Jets.
“I’m beyond excited to join the Newcastle Jets. I’ve always had my sights set on playing in Australia, and I can’t wait to develop under Coach Stephen in such a beautiful part of the world. Getting to play across the world and experience a new way of life while doing what I love is a dream come true.”

“Alex is an intelligent and technically strong midfielder who understands how to connect the game. She’ll adds composure and quality in possession and a strong work ethic without the ball.”
